We have posted on the workbensh page a first glimpse of a beautiful special edition set of 24 figures, (16 British and 8 Afghan), portaying the Last Stand at Gandamak inspired by W. B. Wollen's iconic painting and most skilfully crafted by Paul Hicks. There are also news sets of line infanty in bell top shakoes, (suitable for both Afganistan and China), flank company figures in quilted caps and curtians (for the Scinde campaign) and a set of infantrymen in Kilmarnocks withour peaks, for the 7th and 8th Cape Frontier Wars in the Eastern Cape. Be sure to take a good look and also to save some pocket money for the New Year!

Very pleased to say that the first codes in the new ranges are now available from our UK distributor, Empress Miniatures. They are for the 43rd (The Monmouthshire0 Regiment (Light Infantry) in Africa in 1852 and for the 22nd (The Cheshire) Regiment in India in 1843. Of course they have other applications besides. The online shoppig portals to Empress have now been activated on this website. More exciting releases, including Basotho horsemen and Sikh Irregualr Infantry will follow soon.

These are all released this week. (IMBC 50 has been around for a while, but the others have now joined them). Give it a few days for them to pop up for sale in the Empress Miniatures online shop. They are a splendid sight! In IMBC 49 there is a mounted officer - a personality figure for Colonel Ewart - but no horse, because we're confident you'll have plenty more of our excellent horses in your trays. There are two cased colours in the set however. If you you want to model uncased colours for the 93rd, you'll find the requisite flagsheet is in our range already.
IMBC 49 HM 93rd (Sutherland) Highlanders, Command. (8 figs).
IMBC 50 HM 93rd (Sutherland) Highlanders, Attacking. (8 figs).
IMBC 51 HM 93rd (Sutherland) Highlanders, Firing Line/Skirmishers. (8 figs).
IMBC 52 HM 93rd (Sutherland) Highlanders, Mounted Field Officers. (2 riders, 2 horses). (£8.50).
