New codes IMBC 21 (Sikh inf) and IMLA 11 (Bhistis and bullock) have just been released to Empress. Watch their online shop over the next few days for the codes to appear there. Obviously the bhisti boys are suitable for both sides in the Mutiny as well as for most other 18th-19th century conflicts on the Indian sub-continent.

We've added some imagery to the Minatures Gallery of a 40-figure mutineer infantry unit, painted as the 10th Bengal Native Infantry (green facings). The regiment is in attacking poses and clad partly in native Indian dress and partly in EIC uniform. Also on display are our rebel artillery crews.

We've posted a new customer bulletin which doesn't say very much that is new, but explains why there is a short delay to our cavalry releases.

We've managed to squeeze four more codes through in time for Salute on Saturday. Call by the Empress Miniatures trade stand to inspect them, love them and own them!
They are all mutineer codes - two gun crews, firing line command (II) and ensigns (II).

There are four new codes illustrated on the Workbench Bench, consisting of two artillery crews, a code of BNI ensigns and a BNI firing line command pack. They are whistling straight off for master moulding in the hope that we can get some sets on sale with the Empress Miniatures trade stand stand at Salute, Excel exhibition centre, London docklands, on 16 April. When we get some masters back, we'll put up some crisper photography.

Some details for a new 2-volume book called Cape Warriors have gone up on the 'Mike's Books' page. Volume I will launch at Salute on 16 April 2016 and Volume II a few weeks after that. The Duke will be signing away at Salute. Not one to miss....well, not two to miss come to think of it! We'll notify here when they go up in the Perry Miniatures online shop, though of course there will be plenty of notification of that by other means too.
